At L & Z Jewelry and Gifts we bring over four decades of expertise in antique, estate and fine jewelry — from personal-property insurance scheduling to estate distribution, divorce settlement, charitable donation and casualty-loss appraisals.

Our staff consists of a GIA certified Graduate Gemologist, Accredited Jewelry Professional’s, and a Pearl Graduate. We participate in national and international antique and jewelry shows throughout the country, attending and exhibiting in shows in Europe as well.

Our GIA-certified team and global sourcing set us apart.

Janet Dunayevich

Janet (affectionately known as Zhannachka) is a GIA Graduate Gemologist and Accredited Jewelry Professional whose four decades in the jewelry industry have shaped her into a trusted expert in her field. Her expertise goes beyond technical proficiency—Janet approaches each appraisal with genuine care for the people behind the jewelry. Whether she's evaluating a family heirloom passed down through generations, assessing a significant estate collection, or working with institutions on their holdings, Janet brings the same meticulous attention to detail. You'll find Janet soaking up the sun with her husband on beach walks, or surrounded by her family, especially her grandchildren, who bring her immense joy.

Laura Itkin

Laura's approach to jewelry is both meticulous and passionate—she takes pride in understanding each client's unique story and helping them find pieces that resonate on a personal level. Her knowledge of pearls, gemstones, and luxury accessories allows her to offer informed guidance whether a client is seeking an everyday treasure or a significant investment piece. When she's not curating exceptional finds for her clients, Laura embraces life's simple pleasures. Laura can be found in the kitchen cooking, enjoying time with her children and grandchildren, or hunting down the best bargains around town.

Nikki Itkin

Nikki began her journey in the jewelry world as a toddler, learning alongside Janet and Laura and absorbing the nuances of the trade from an early age. Her background spans the arts, including experience in art auctions and as a gallery director, complemented by a Master of Arts Administration from Drexel University. She holds a Gemstone Treatment Certification, Graduate Diamonds diploma, and Applied Jewelry Professional Certification. Nikki brings together her expertise in jewelry with her deep appreciation for art and antiques. When she's not at L&Z, you'll find her tending to her garden, exploring museums, or discovering treasures at the farmers market.
